Your role in our team:
As an Artificial Intelligence Engineer we count on you to develop and deploy qualitative operational AI systems for the innovative clients we work for. You will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge AI solutions for a wide range of industries using different AI technology frameworks in a standard Python based ML technology stack. The ideal candidate is willing to excel in creating NLP, Computer Vision, as well more classical tabular ML algorithms depending on the innovations we are building with our clients. You will not only model and create smart solutions but also serve and deploy them in a scalable way. You are interested in novel opportunities which AI technology can bring to the table as it evolves, e.g. the advent of GenAI the last couple of years.
At ML2Grow, we start from the problem and not the solution. Therefore ,we remain vendor-agnostic, using the right technology for the right problem, often using open-source building blocks and libraries.
To achieve impactful solutions, you will collaborate closely with data engineers, software engineers, data scientists and AI translators. You will have ample opportunities to grow in the job, both in-depth due to the expertise present in ML2Grow, as well as broad due to the variety of companies and use-cases we work for. You will create these solutions in a project-based context, working together with the team in our offices, complemented with working at home or occasionally at the client, if the project requires.
Finally, you will communicate and discuss the solution as it evolves with all relevant stakeholders, remaining critical of what is needed, instead of ticking off boxes on a to-do list.
The skills we are looking for:
- You hold a Bachelor degree in a highly AI focused University College program or hold Master/PhD in Computer Science (Engineering) or Informatics.
- You have 0 to 6 years of experience in a similar context. (data science, services organization or consulting)
- You are fluent in Python and preferably have experience with other programming languages.
- You feel comfortable with technologies and frameworks in our business such as Docker, PyTorch, Fast-API or equivalents.
- A strong interest in commonly used and upcoming data science/ML packages.
- You use a Jupyter Notebook as long as needed, but not a moment longer.
- Experience or the willingness to learn more about more data architecture or data engineering skills such as CI/CD , Kubernetes, Spark, etc.
- You speak fluent English. You speak or are learning how to speak Dutch. (French is a plus)
- You understand how AI systems can add value to business and you can communicate this clearly to all stakeholders involved in projects.
